Celebrating Four Years of the Power of the PANK!

On November 30, 2012, my company, Savvy Auntie, along with Weber Shandwick and KRC Research, released our groundbreaking North American joint study on The Power of the PANK or Professional Aunt No Kids. While I had coined the term back in 2008 when I launched Savvy Auntie, it was this well-received study on the childless aunt that really moved the PANK into the realm of global recognition.

It was on this day four years ago that The New York Times featured me and the study in a half-page feature in the Sunday Style section, on the NYTimes.com homepage, and in the Business Decoder section with a video interview of me and others (see video below)

Since then, the PANK has been ranked a Euromonitor International Top 5 Global Travel Trend for 2013 and mentioned along with me and Savvy Auntie in the Euromonitor International Top 10 Global Consumer Trends for 2016.
