I am new to the SavyAuntie website, and just heard about this. I’m so thrilled that such a day exists! I have developed an extreme dislike for Mother’s Day because my husband and I have been told we likely won’t ever have children, and I always wished there was a day to celebrate people like me, who become “aunts”. Now there is! This is wonderful!
I’m so glad Aunt’s are being recognized for all they do for their nieces and nephews. I will be on vacation that day with my niece and couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate Auntie’s Day 🙂
