Women Are Having Children Later Than Ever Before. Here’s Why
My latest article for New York Post: "The Baby Blocker: Why are increasingly college-educated women have children later in life? Blame men." is on why women are becoming mothers later than ever before in recorded U.S. Census Fertility Report history.
More than half of women leave their 20's before giving birth. And over 30 percent remain childless in their early thirties. And yet, women are always to blame as so-called "delayers," "career women," or as naive about their fertility. Research points the finger in different direction.

On the bright side, White men, (because that’s who formerly made up the vast majority of white collar workers), are now achieving equality with their Black and Hispanic brothers re income and social status. You should be celebrating this step forward for racial equality. And what is so great about marriage anyway? I’m old enough to remember being lectured that marriage was “just a piece of paper” while simultaneously being the oppressive tool of the patriarchy. Guess I can’t keep up with fashion.
