The response to the book has been extraordinarily rewarding, [Notkin] continued. “I mean, I had hypothesized about this phenomenon and now I know, from the responses of women from Iowa to the U.K., that this is a very universal experience.”
As for her own journey, she’s as candid in person as in the book.
“I believe love is ahead. There’s no time for regret, there’s no time for second-guessing, for justifying.
“We have to keep moving forward.
“Love is in the first book of the Bible; it’s something we seek from the moment we come out of the womb. And we never stop needing it and wanting it.”
