Team Ready, Game On!
Dear Readers,
As I've mentioned, Harper Studio, the original HarperCollins imprint I signed with to published The Savvy Auntie Guide to Life, is closing. Debbie Stier took our book to the imprint she felt would champion the book best. And so I am very proud to share with you that The Savvy Auntie Guide to Life is now with William Morrow, a well-established imprint at HarperCollins.
The other day, I had the pleasure of meeting the team at the helm: Liate Stehlik, SVP and Publisher, Lynn Grady, SVP and Deputy Publisher, and Seale Ballenger, VP, Group Publicity Director. What a great meeting! It was as if we had met years ago, finishing each others' sentences - completely on the same page! I am so impressed with this team and so thrilled to be working with them on this fantastic project. In addition, we'll be working with Sharyn Rosenblum, Sr. Director Media Relations and Mary Schuck, VP/Creative Director. These women have worked with some of the best titles on the market and are incredibly generous, listening to my thoughts on the media and creative directions for the book. This is a true partnership.
Of course, Debbie is still with us championing me, Savvy Auntie and The Savvy Auntie Guide to Life... thank God.
I think I am working with some of the most unbelievable people in publishing today. And here's the best part: they feel fortunate to have YOU as the audience for this book.
